about us

rondomedia has been founded in April 1998 in Moenchengladbach, Germany. From the beginning rondomedia focussed on publishing and distribution of budget- and midprice-games. With our games-portfolio (which is 75% of our business) and two infotainment-series we offer a complete range of PC-software to our customers. Today rondomedia is one of the Top-3-PC-Budget-Publishers in the German speaking market.

Since 1998 rondomedia is the exclusive distributor for eGames (casual games) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since 2002 Ubisoft's budget-range "Ubisoft Exclusives" with titles like "Settlers IV", "Morrowind" and "Splinter Cell" is distributed by rondomedia on an exclusive base. Through Ubisoft we also do budget-distribution for SCI, Microsoft etc. Further partners are Atari, Phenomedia, zone 2 and many others.

If you want to sell licences:

We do a lot of distribution, but publishing is also a very important part of our business. If you have an interesting licence, we do everything to get a finished product out of it and to put it in all relevant German-speaking retail channels.

Our product management and our PR-department will work out strategies to make your brand well known and to make people aware of your products. We work close together with Borgmeier PR, germany's no.1 pr-company in our industry. They support our in-house PR to get the best possible result.

rondomedia keeps all listings to guarantee a wide distribution in all relevant market channels. There is no customer with more than 0,5 percent market-share not covered by our sales team.

For Germany's no.1 channel Media Markt / Saturn we founded a distribution company "New Planet Group Distribution GmbH" together with a logistic- and sales-company in 2002. Ten sales people visit the 300 stores of Media Markt / Saturn each month and guarantee a good presentation.

Our sister-company's astragon GmbH and Play it! GmbH ar?e specialists for impulse deals, OEM and special promotion (low price) - so we are able to take care of your product for the complete lifecycle.

If you look for licences for your company:

We own some interesting licences with worldwide rights in different language-versions. Titles we sell successfully in the German market are ready for distribution in other countries. We look for local licence partners knowing their business in their country for a close cooperation. Our main focus within the licence-portfolio is casual games, compilations and games for kids.
